Meet the DoN
My real name is Adonis but some call me DoN , the most "out there" introvert you'll ever come across. I reside within the Chicagoland area and should I ever grace you with my presence you'll find that I'm a bit of a knucklehead. Sarcasm, malicious humor, and psychedelic fun can be seen in every work because my art is an extension of my personality and who I truly am. The purpose of my craft is to make you enjoy the moment and not forget to smile every now and then.
How it Began
Art started for me like many others, scribbles and funky drawings as a child. It wasn't until my later years in high school where I began to experiment more with my abilities and felt the liberation of creating something. For me, art has always been about that feeling of freedom and joy and getting to share that with my fans and clients over the years is my greatest achievement.
The DRiiiP
My art is a combination of lowbrow, neo surrealism, and psychedelic-god knows what. I love contrasting light and dark concepts and use a lot of my own personal experiences and thoughts as inspiration. The "DRiiiPPY" style was coined after constantly drawing mind-melting material and I've been going at this strong for about three years now.
